Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals officially launched the Dr. Badr Al Samaa 3D Health Awareness Video Series, an innovative public health education initiative designed to simplify medical knowledge and promote healthier communities through engaging animated content. The launch ceremony was held at the Ministry of Health in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salim Al-Mandhari, Undersecretary for Planning and Health Regulation, Ministry of Health, Guest of Honour Dr. Muhanna bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Musalhi, Director General of Private Health Establishments, Ministry of Health, and various senior Ministry of Health and Badr Al Samaa Group officials.
The series has been created to make health information easier to understand through 3D animations, simple explanations, and concise videos in both English and Arabic. It covers topics including diseases, symptoms, prevention, treatments, lifestyle management, and wellness awareness. One video of this series in English and Arabic will be published every Tuesday on the official YouTube Channel of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salim Al-Mandhari appreciated the initiative by Badr Al Samaa Group and said: “Awareness and education are among the strongest tools in healthcare. This initiative will provide clear and accessible information and help people make better health decisions and support the overall wellbeing of society. We appreciate Badr Al Samaa to undertake such initiatives and we welcome such meaningful contributions towards public health promotion.”
Dr. Muhanna bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Musalhi said: “I have experienced due to lack of awareness on health related subjects some patients misunderstand many things during their course of treatment. Digital awareness programs like these can play an important role in educating communities on health subjects and helps build their confidence even more in the healthcare system.”
Speaking during the launch, the managing directors of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals Mr. Abdul Latheef Uppala and Dr. P. A. Mohamed, in a joint statement , said: Healthcare is not only about treatment within hospitals; it is equally about educating people before illness develops. Through the Dr. Badr Al Samaa 3D Health Awareness Video Series, we aim to make reliable medical information simple and accessible to every family. This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering communities through knowledge.”
