Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals renewed its strategic partnership agreement with the Oman Football Association (OFA), reaffirming its role as the Official Medical Partner of the Association and strengthening its long-standing commitment towards athlete healthcare and sports excellence in Oman.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations. On behalf of the Oman Football Association, the agreement was signed by His Excellency Sayyid Sulaiman bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OFA. Representing Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, the MoU was signed by the Managing Directors, Mr. Abdul Latheef and Dr. P. A. Mohamed.
The renewed agreement further strengthens the distinguished relationship between the Oman Football Association and Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, which has proudly served as the official medical partner of the OFA for more than 13 years. Over the years, the Group has continuously supported the medical requirements of the national football teams and various football activities and programs organized by the Association.
Under this collaboration, Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals will continue providing medical support and healthcare services for players and football-related activities associated with the Oman Football Association. The continued partnership also highlights the growing importance of professional healthcare support in ensuring player safety, fitness, and readiness during competitions and sporting events.
Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency Sayyid Sulaiman bin Hamoud Al Busaidi appreciated the contribution of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals towards the sports sector in Oman and emphasized the importance of continuing the collaboration. He stated, “The renewal of this partnership with Badr Al Samaa Group represents an important pillar within the Football Association’s plans aimed at providing a healthy and safe sporting environment for our players and teams. The Group has demonstrated high efficiency and professionalism over the years as the official medical partner of the Association. We are confident that the continuation of this cooperation will positively contribute towards the health, safety, and readiness of our players during various competitions and participations.”
In a joint statement, the Managing Directors of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, Mr. Abdul Latheef and Dr. P. A.
